DORTMUND: Manchester City will meet Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals of the Champions League after Phil Foden’s second-half goal ensured a 2-1 win at Borussia Dortmund and 4-2 on aggregate.

England midfielder Jude Bellingham put Dortmund ahead, but Riyad Mahrez’s second -half penalty and Foden’s solid shot took City into the last four of the tournament for the second time.

After scoring the winning goal in the 90th minute in a 2-1 win last week, Foden once again disappointed Dortmund.

“We finally made it to the semi -finals and we are very happy. They deserve to enjoy it because what they have achieved this season is amazing,” said Guardiola.

Guardiola also praised Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG after they advanced to the semi -finals by eliminating defending champions Bayern Munich through an away goal advantage.

“We saw yesterday how strong they (PSG) are, Neymar is an incredible player and they got rid of the best team in the world.

“Now is the time to celebrate, then we will make preparations to meet Chelsea (in the FA Cup semi -final this Saturday),” he said.
