MILAN: Christian Eriksen scored the final goal as Inter Milan advanced to the semi-finals of the Italian Cup with a 2-1 victory over AC Milan who played 10 people in a tense match just now.

The clash at the San Siro was overshadowed by a fight between strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku, who each scored a goal with the Swedish star and were sent off in the second half.

Ibrahimovic broke the deadlock after half an hour when he received a pass from Soualiho Meite before kicking a swipe to the goal.

But former Manchester United teammates Ibrahimovic and Lukaku later clashed before the end of the first half.

The two players exchanged words towards the player tunnel with Lukaku having to be calmed down by a teammate before each of them received a yellow card.

Ibrahimovic was sent off after receiving a second yellow card 15 minutes after the start of the second half when he dropped Aleksandar Kolarov.

Rafael Leao fouled Nicolo Barella who gave Inter a penalty and was completed in the 71st minute by Lukaku.

Eriksen came off the bench with two minutes left in the game and scored the winning goal through a free kick.
