Liverpool Bounced Back To Beat Sheffield Utd

LIVERPOOL: Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Liverpool’s ability to deal with “injustice” as the English Premier League champions beat Sheffield United 2-1.

Klopp’s side fell behind Sander Berge’s controversial penalty in the first half at Anfield, with Liverpool frustrated VAR still gave a penalty despite being rude outside the box.

But Roberto Firmino equalized before the break and Portuguese striker Diogo Jota completed the resurgence with his second goal since moving from the Wolves in September.

After losing Virgil van Dijk due to a knee injury in a neighboring game against Everton last weekend, Liverpool once again managed to face the challenge without a central defender.

“The penalty is not an offense at all. In a season there are many different situations, we have faced injustice and we have to face it again.

“I love this game. You have to work hard. You get an easy match when everything is on your side on a night like this,” Klopp said.
