Mourinho Able To Disappoint Solskjaer

FootyBiteOctober 3, 2020

After three matches, only three teams remain to score perfect points. Leicester City along with defending champions Liverpool and Everton each scored nine points to excel in the top three.

The Foxes topped the charts after scoring the last three points to humiliate Manchester City, 5-2 at the Etihad, while the Reds beat Arsenal 3-1 at Anfield and Everton over Crystal Palace at Selhurts Park, 2-1.

Looking at this week’s schedule, all three teams are seen as having a good chance to continue to win with Leicester welcoming West Ham at King Power while Liverpool visit Villa Park and Everton hosting Brighton at Goodison Park.

Even so for this week, the focus of the match is on Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Prior to this meeting, the two went through the fluctuations of the performance after three actions, causing concern among their supporters.

Spurs started the left step when they were thrashed 0-1 to Everton in the opening game of the league, before rising to beat Southampton 5-2 at St Mary’s and then tied 1-1 at Newcastle at home. United were humiliated by Palace 1-3, before rising to Brighton, 3-2.

Before tomorrow night’s meeting, both teams also won the fourth round of the English League Cup with United beating Brighton 3-0 while Tottenham overtook Chelsea in a 5-4 penalty shootout.

So what are the expectations for this action? Obviously, he would hate it. Jose Mourinho, who once coached United, must have had a strategy of trapping Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s men. Only he was once again discouraged from using the services of Gareth Bale apart from the possibility of Son Heung-Min due to injury.

After a narrow win over Brighton, Solskjaer once again proved his superiority by beating his opponent with a better result in the English League Cup. Clearly both teams were present at Old Trafford with high spirits.

Going back to the action of the top three teams, I expect Leicester are expected to face difficulties when meeting West Ham. Before the action, his opponent thrashed Wolves 4-0 and gave a stern warning to his challenger after this.

Liverpool, on the other hand, face an easy action against Villa. After being eliminated by Arsenal in the English League Cup match yesterday, Jurgen Klopp’s men have no choice but to rise. Klopp himself has already chanted how ready they are to defend the championship.

Everton should also have no problems facing Brighton, while Arsenal and Chelsea are expected to have no problem scoring full points when they host Sheffiled and Palace at home. Enjoy watching.
