LONDON: Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has stepped up pressure on new Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel by insisting it is easy to win a trophy at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho won three Premier League titles as well as the FA Cup and the League Cup during two seasons with Chelsea.
Although the Portuguese coach was sacked twice by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, Mourinho insists the Blues boss’s financial support means success is not difficult to achieve.
It is certainly not the advice that former Paris Saint-Germain manager Tuchel wants, who will face Mourinho when Chelsea visit Tottenham early tomorrow morning.
“I don’t think it is very difficult for Chelsea coach because I am a three-time champion, (Carlo) Ancelotti is also a champion, Antonio Conte is also a champion,” said Mourinho.
“It can’t be very, very difficult because we won the title there.
“I believe Chelsea always have great players and a great squad as well as good coaches who are always happy to work with this club and with players who give you a good chance to succeed and win titles.”
