Andrea Pirlo hopes to bring down Paulo Dybala again as Juventus want to end 2020 brilliantly when they receive a visit from Fiorentina early tomorrow morning.

Dybala, who was the subject of transfer speculation during his contract negotiations in the face of complexity, missed a 4-0 win over Parma due to a thigh injury.

The Argentine international has been in the starting line-up for the Serie A season this season, making eight appearances in total.

His performance was also less encouraging, when he just scored one goal out of 23 attempts and failed to do any assist behind 14 attempts.

But Pirlo talks about the striker’s talent and is optimistic he will return to meet Fiorentina.

“Paulo started training with the team today,” Pirlo told Juventus TV. “He is recovering and I am confident he will play for tomorrow’s match.

“[Merih] Demiral also recovered, but Arthur will not be dropped, as he is still in pain when he met Atalanta.”
