LONDON: Mouricio Pochettino is expected to return to control of Tottenham after being said to be unhappy with Paris Saint-Germain.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is trying to persuade his former club manager to leave Paris and return to White Hart Lane.

If successful, Pochettino’s return may be able to change the mind of Spurs star Harry Kane to stay with the team.

Pochettino was sacked by Spurs in November 2019 after five years with the club before taking over PSG in January this season.

Jose Mourinho was appointed to replace Pochettino but was also sacked last month ahead of the League Cup final.

Levy admits the decision to fire Pochettino was the biggest mistake he has ever made.
