Solskjaer Signed 3-year Contract

LONDON: Manchester United announced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed a three -year contract with the team, today.

The Norwegian manager who replaced Jose Mourinho in 2018 will remain at Old Trafford until 2024 with the option to extend his contract for another year.

“Everyone knows about my feelings towards this team and I’m happy to sign this new contract,” Solskjaer said.

“This is an exciting time for Manchester United. We are building a well -balanced team with young and experienced players who are sure to starve for success.”

Solskjaer led United to a second -place finish in the English Premier League (EPL) last season but lost the Europa League final to Villareal.

The 48 -year -old operator is currently targeting the biggest awards in English and European football.

“I have a great coaching staff and we are always ready to move forward.

“Manchester United want to win the biggest and best trophy and that’s what we’re aiming for. We’re growing on and off the pitch.

“That’s what we’re going to continue for next season. I can’t wait to be in front of the fans at Old Trafford to start the new season’s campaign,” he added.
