LONDON: Tottenham did not bring Harry Kane to the Europa League match in Portugal against Pacos de Ferreira thus further strengthening speculation of the England captain’s transfer.

The Spurs main striker has yet to play under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo on his return from a holiday in the Caribbean, and is accused of deliberately skipping training to force his move to Manchester City.

Kane was also left out of the Premier League opener against City-where Spurs beat the defending champions 1-0 thanks to a Son Heung-min goal.

Kane is reportedly upset with club chairman Daniel Levy who broke a promise to allow him to leave the club this summer.

The 28-year-old feels Spurs are incapable of fulfilling their ambitions to win the trophy.

Esprito Santo did not bring Kane to Portugal because he wanted the player to continue his fitness training ahead of Sunday’s meeting with Wolves.

Kane was previously told he could leave the club this summer if Spurs fail to win any trophies or finish in the top four.
