LONDON: Arsenal have sounded an early warning of how they can be the main contenders for the title after beating newcomers Fulham 3-0 in the inaugural Premier League season 2020/2021, just now.

Mikel Arteta’s squad started fiercely when they opened the scoring through Alexandre Lacazette as early as the eighth minute and the result remained until the end of the match.

As soon as the second half continued, the Gunners who were seen dominating the match continued to show their fangs when they scored the second goal through Gabriel in the 49th minute.

Gabonese striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang completed the victory of Arteta’s men in the inaugural match when he scored the third goal in the 57th minute.

The victory is definitely a positive start for Arsenal to make up for the disappointment experienced last season which saw them just finish the competition in eighth place in the league.

Fulham, who returned to the English Premier League after beating Brentford in the Championship League playoffs, are seen struggling and still looking for a rhythm to compete with the main club.

The next action will see Fulham meet Leeds United while Arsenal are scheduled to face West Ham United next week.
