LONDON: Aston Villa are reportedly ready to raise the salary of their star, Jack Grealish, up to 100,000 pounds a week to ensure he doesn’t move to Manchester United.

The squad previously asked for as much as 80 million pounds for the designer, who scored in the last game of the season to help the club survive a knockout exit.

Club owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens have no desire to release players this summer.

And to certify their big craving for the player who currently earns a wage of £ 70,000 a week, the club is also offering him a hefty five-year contract.
