LONDON: Dani Ceballos is nearing the end of his loan spell at Arsenal after talks with Mikel Arteta.

According to reports, the Spaniard has already started training with Real Madrid in the pre-season despite the two clubs stalling in their talks.

The 24-year-old midfielder spent the 2019-20 season on loan with the Gunners and left the club with success in the FA Cup.

He impressed Arsenal fans with 37 appearances in all tournaments and scored two goals.

And Arteta wasted no time in reaching a new agreement by bringing Ceballos back to the squad for the upcoming campaign.

And it is said to be almost a reality.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are in final talks with Madrid and the loan package will be made “soon”.

But it is understood according to the clause, again there will be no permanent transfer.
