WEST BROMWICH: Timothy Castagne scored in his first appearance to help Leicester win a comfortable 3-0 win over English Premier League (EPL) newcomer West Brom in their opening match just now.

Brendan Rodgers’ men faced disappointment last season which saw them miss a slot into the Champions League and only bring in a new player so far.

Castagne, who is also a defender, was brought in from Atlanta and the Belgian jumped so high to welcome a cross from Dennis Praet, thus becoming the opening goal of The Foxes in the second half.

After that, they continued to be fierce when they added two more goals through two penalty kicks completed by Jamie Vardy after the striker and James Justin were dropped in the penalty box.

Slaven Bilic’s squad failed to create any chances with their only real chance to come through Matheus Pereira’s attempt to save Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
