Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester Compete For Champions League’s Seat

LONDON: Manchester United, Chelsea and Leicester have just one game left to grab a place in next season’s Champions League.

All three clubs are vying for the last two places to Europe’s top rival – and one has to compete in the Europa League.

With all three teams losing points in the previous match, the competition is getting fierce ahead of the final action of the English Premier League (EPL) this season.

United, who occupy third place – overcoming Chelsea by a goal difference – will travel to Leicester.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad is now one point ahead of Brendan Rodgers’ men and will only need to draw to qualify for the Champions League.

If they lose, United can still qualify, provided Chelsea also lose against Wolves at home.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea also need one more point to qualify, regardless of what happens at King Power Stadium.

Even if they lose, Chelsea can still qualify if United beat Leicester.

For Leicester, only victory will promise a place in the Champions League.

If a draw, Leicester can still qualify provided Chelsea lose to the Wolves as the Foxes have a higher goal difference.
