NAPLES, Italy: Napoli sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Lille.

The 21-year-old made 38 appearances in all matches for Lille last season, and netted 18 goals.

Born in Lagos, Osimhen moved to Europe in 2017, accompanying Wolfsburg.

He only made 12 appearances for the Bundesliga club for two seasons before accompanying the Belgian Charleroi club on loan in 2018.

His achievements peaked in Belgium, netting 20 goals in 36 appearances. A permanent move to France follows.

In the international rank, Osimhen collected nine hoods with the Super Eagles.

Napoli are expected to finish rivals on the seventh ladder of Serie A this season with only one resistance in the legs.
