LONDON: Mesut Ozil seems to be criticizing Mikel Arteta by saying he is fit and can’t wait to play.

The German international has not played since football returned from a curfew and was not listed in the squad for Arsenal’s last five rivals.

Arteta had previously stated it was due to a back injury but did not comment on the player’s recovery process.

Ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool early tomorrow morning, Arteta was asked about Ozil but insisted he would miss it again.

The Spanish operator said: “Mesut’s situation is still the same as before.”

But Ozil denied the manager on Twitter with a picture of him practicing with the message: “I AM READY.”

Prior to the injury, Arteta said he was dropped for “tactical reasons”.

But now it is clear that Arteta wants to build a squad without the 31-year-old player.

SunSport revealed last week that Ozil was trying to migrate to Turkey or the United States after he became an independent agent.
