LONDON: Paul Pogba will return to full training in the next few weeks after getting the green light from Manchester United doctors.

Pogba has not trained for the past two months after injuring his thigh during an international match with France.

It has been a difficult recovery process for the Frenchman who spent part of his time in Dubai in a bid to return to action at the end of January.

But now there is a ray of hope after he ran slowly at Carrington training center last week.

It’s big news for boss Ralf Rangnick who is worried he will lead the team without the midfielder for the next few weeks.

United’s medical staff can’t wait to bring the player to the first team this week.

Rangnick insists the player needs time to return to previous levels ahead of the FA Cup clash with Aston Villa.

He said: “I was told a week ago, it takes a minimum of at least four or five weeks before he is fully fit to train.”
